Madeline Ritter (Bureau Ritter) talks to Karin Heyl (Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Crespo Foundation) about the creative power of private foundations in funding cultural activities.

They also take a look at the new funding programme ‘Next Steps’ of Bureau Ritter, which is supported by the Crespo Foundation. It supports dance professionals in Hesse at all stages of their artistic career.

Karin Heyl is an experienced cultural promoter who has been working in the field of private foundations since 1990. She was instrumental in setting up the Crespo Foundation and has first-hand knowledge of the challenges and opportunities of private cultural funding.
