Second Project Gathering in Frankfurt

On April 17, projects from the Next Steps funding rounds 1 and 2 came together at the Crespo Foundation in Frankfurt for a day of exchange and new connections. The focus was on getting to know one another, building networks, and offering mutual support: What can we share with each other? How can artistic projects strengthen one another?
 
Following a warm welcome by Hanna Knell (Crespo Foundation) and Madeline Ritter (Bureau Ritter), the day began with two energizing warm-ups. The project presentations that followed highlighted the remarkable diversity of the Hessian dance scene –  from individual artistic approaches to shared questions that connect many of the participants.
 
In the afternoon, dancer and choreographer Antje Pfundtner led a workshop on artistic strategies for collaboration. Here, too, the emphasis was on shared experiences and open exchange – offering advice, voicing concerns, and exploring how spaces, challenges, and opportunities can be shared.
 
The day made clear just how much potential lies in collective thinking and collaboration. Many thanks to everyone who took part and helped shape this space – we’re excited to see what grows from it.
